The U1000 is Thinkware’s newest flagship model that delivers sharp native 4K video quality and boasts a comprehensive driver assistance warning system to help keep drivers safe on the road.

Install the U1000 with the included CPL filter, 2K QHD rear view camera and hardwiring cable for complete, best-in-class 24/7 all-round protection.
Connect this device to your iOS or Android smartphone via Wi-Fi by heading to the App Store or Google Play store and downloading the app.

Compared to Energy Saving, Energy Saving 2.0 takes energy saving efficiency to the next level and increases up to 26 times the total duration of the dash cam’s Parking Surveillance mode. The dash cam conserves energy by going on standby when entering Parking Surveillance mode and wakes up to record events triggered by impacts only.

GPS DRIVING DATA
THERMAL PROTECTION
ANTI-FILE CORRUPTION
Requires Hardwiring Cable or OBD II Power Cable and installation for Parking Surveillance mode (professional installation recommended)
Parking Surveillance mode is automatically activated when you turn off the ignition, and captures footage when a motion or impact is detected so you have video evidence of mishaps like hit-and-runs while you’re away from your vehicle.
Optional Radar Module is sold separately
When in Energy Saving Mode 2.0, the Radar Module allows the U1000 dash cam to extend its Parking Surveillance mode duration by reducing the power consumption. When a motion is detected by the Radar Module, the U1000 wakes up and gets ready to record.
If an impact is detected, a 20 second video (10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the impact) is saved in a dedicated folder on the MicroSD card. When no impacts are detected, the U1000 does not save the footage and resumes Energy Saving Mode 2.0.
* Energy Saving Mode 2.0 will disable all THINKWARE CLOUD features.
*Radar motion detection requires optional Radar Module, and only enabled in Energy Saving Mode 2.0.
*Sedan or greater sized vehicle can be detected. People passing by will not be detected.
*Due to nature of Ultra-high Frequency radiation, the distance and degree of detection can be different.
*Not every object is guaranteed to be detected.
*Metal object can cause malfunction of the radar detection.
*Read user manual before using radar module
